Lot Line Adjustments, in selected Utah Cities

Salt Lake City, lot line adjustment
Observations as to Salt Lake City requirements: current description and proposed description. Site plan drawing by surveyor or engineer. Deeds or other instrument will execute the adjustment.
Murray City lot line adjustment
Observations as to Murray City requirements: Does not apply to lots contained in a subdivision. (Compare: Utah Code section 10-9a-103(33): Lot line adjustment means relocation of boundary line in a subdivision.) Submit 24x36" drawing.
Compare: Utah Code section 17-27a-522(a), which says that a parcel boundary adjustment is not subject to the review of a land use authority.
Lehi City lot line adjustment
Observations as to Lehi City requirements: Not requiring a plat, but requiring a scaled drawing. Any affected utility easements, are treated by a disclaimer of easement signed by each utility. City records a Notice of Approval, and then landowners must record the conveyancing documents.
West Jordan lot line adjustment
Observations as to West Jordan requirements: Survey by surveyor or engineer 11x17, with signature blocks for city. Agreement with adjoining owner. Title report. Fee $1,200. After approval, then deeds may be recorded.
